Ital Medi was established in 2017, built on the African principle of Sankofa. It means to look back and bring forward the knowledge of the past.
With all the advancements in technology and science, you would like to think that the population’s health would be at its peak but for one reason or another, it seems to be quite the opposite.
Many reading this will remember having bitters, oils and washouts that grandparents swore by, and the face you pulled when it was your turn to take them.
We've partnered with and studied the works of lifelong herbal practitioners to bring you ancient combinations, passed down through generations.
THE BUILD
Our personal journey started in the UK; we wanted to get away from the hustle & bustle of London life and focus on reconnecting with nature & our roots and create a safe space for others. So, we made the decision to move to the friendly, scenic, peaceful town of Bartica in Guyana, South America.
The lot had sat empty for thirty years. The bush had taken it back completely. Clearing it was hard work, but we were determined to build our vision.
A boutique Ital Wellness Centre to help people function at their optimum by finding balance, along with the aid of our wellness programmes & experiences, which are tailored to help visitors reflect & detox to reset; spiritually, mentally & physically.
