Service Description

Escape the pace of everyday life and immerse yourself in a restorative wellness experience in Bartica, combining personalised wellness, mindful movement, cleansing, nourishing ital/vegan cuisine, nature and intentional time to reconnect with yourself. Your journey begins in Georgetown with a scenic speedboat ride from Parika along the Essequibo River. As the city fades behind you, mangroves, lush riverbanks and open water create a natural transition into the slower rhythm of Bartica. At the Ital Medi Wellness Centre, your experience begins with an aura cleanse — an opportunity to pause, reset and set your intentions. You’ll enjoy fresh, locally prepared ital/vegan cuisine alongside a personalised wellness consultation and full-body scan, giving you space to discuss your wellness goals and the areas you wish to focus on. The results, feedback and personalised recommendations will follow after your visit, helping you gain greater insight into your wellness journey. Your stay combines stretch and fitness, meditation, sound bowls and guided journaling to encourage presence, reflection and self-awareness. A dedicated fasting and internal cleanse day, to flush & reset your system, supported with fresh fruits, water, herbal teas and tonics. Connect with Bartica through riverside and waterfall exploration and a visit to a local 18-acre farm, where you’ll enjoy an ital/vegan bush cook lunch and discover where some of your food is grown. There’s also time to simply be — walk, read, meditate, journal, reflect or rest. Evenings bring nourishing meals, relaxation, games and positive vibrations. Your experience concludes with a signature Ital Medi break-fast before your journey back to Georgetown.
